Prior to joining The Greenwood Company, Kristin Bertell was Vice President, Institute Relations at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California whose programs raised more than $175 million during her five-year tenure. Ms. Bertell also served as Director of Major Gifts for USC’s Keck School of Medicine and as Director of Development for California Lutheran University. She holds a B.A. in History from UCLA and a M.A. in Communications Management from the Annenberg School for Communications at USC.
